Personally i am extremely observant for a guy. I notice things like eye makeup, lip gloss, hair bows, toe and finger nail paint, teeth, smile, eyes, pretty much everything. I always find that my first impression of a girl is very different to how i am later. I find that when i first meet a girl they may not be initially attractive but as i get to know them and like them i find them to become good looking! things i look for in a girl are, pretty hair, nice eyes, and a great personality. I know that i can get over it if someone has a weirdly shaped nose. I do not like fake nails they kinda gross me out, sorry. Don't worry girls guys will like you because you all have great personalities. |

Okay, here's one- I've heard that guys like girls because they're girls, they like the way they walk and talk and look and smell. But the other day I read something about how if girls really wear perfume to attract a guy/get a guys attention, then she would wear something that smells like a taco or something. (The point was that it's important to find out what matters to the people you care about, to "crawl into their world." If you care about someone, then what matters to them will usually mean more to you than otherwise- not that we should change or cave, but for example if a guy works really hard to stay fit and you notice and say something, that will mean a lot) But anyway my question to guys is, does the perfume or scented hand cream turn you off? Because I can't stand it when I walk by someone and suddenly can't breathe because the air is so thick, but I love scented hand cream =] |

I definitely find when a female is saturated in perfume a total turn off. Its like i have to get away due to the pungent smell of man made perfume. Same thing as when guys load on the axe. perfume is good, but to a certain extent. If your saturating your clothes in a bath of perfume, maybe tone it down a little. |

Well for me I really notice a girls face and hair, but im not a real picky guy because those things only get my attention but after a while I get really attracted to their personality. Like since im in grade 12 and dont have a girlfriend unfortunately....but i hope reading this book will help. Anyways since i know most of the girls in grade 12 since i have known them for a while and had classes with most of them looks arent a huge concern for me. As far as your question about perfume and scented hand lotion. I like scented hand lotions and perfumes but it's not that big a deal for me but I really hate girls who overdoe and thats a big turnoff (like you said like choking on it or something I can't exactly remember but you know what i mean)

So are blue eyes intimidating?
I noticed that with a few of my exes
They always looked away
I didn't understand why
I couldn't understand if they were scared of me something?
Lol

Posted By Rose on 12/01/2009 8:38 PM Ha... this is kind of a weird question, but I've heard before that guys don't really pay attention to features like noses, lips, feet, or fingernails. Is this true??
Not unless something really stands out on that particular feature

Posted By Rose on 12/01/2009 8:35 PM I feel the same way, Clare. Even though I think blue eyes are really pretty, when I'm talking to someone who has really light blue eyes I feel like I have to look away alot. And then I feel really awkward. :]

| @Adelynn - A Taco? Now that would be just weird.. However I was at Khols one time with a friend and my sister, we were smelling perfume and cologne and found a perfume that smelled like cotton candy. If there was a girl I knew who wore that, I would probably want to be around her ALL the time! Haha---
I tend to notice smiles more than anything. If a girl has a beautiful smile, I'm hooked.
When it comes to makeup, I've always had a saying for it. "A girl is most beautiful when she first wakes up, before she gets the chance to put on her mask." A natural girl is so much more attractive.---
1 Corinthians 11:15 "But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering." I've always loved long hair. Not only because I was raised knowing this scripture. Long hair is just simply beautiful. As for hair color, it really doesn't matter. Just as long as it's natural. ---
God made you who He wanted you to be. Because God saw you and though you were beautiful that way. God creates perfection. He doesn't make mistakes. You are perfect just the way you are, because He made you perfectly.

I don't think there is anything wrong with dying hair, though. Motivation would be the key- I used to dye my hair all the time (I've had almost every color except green or pink), but it was just for fun. It wasn't because I hated what God had given me. But if a woman has long hair... I'm just saying. Women who are going through chemo probably think long hair is a blessing, too |

| @Adelynn - I understand where you're coming from. It's simply my point of view. --- 1 Corinthians 11:5 states "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven." I've known ladies who went through chemotherapy. They actually wore a veil to cover their head until their hair started growing back. ~Kid Love |

| Kidlove-- What do you think about subtle lowlights (darker highlights) in hair?? I have strawberry blonde hair and want to get slightly auburn lowlights, but I don't want to seem fake. |

but highlights (or lowlights) can enhance your natural beauty =D haha Rose, I'd say go for it. Make sure you go to someone with experience- I once had Cruella Deville hair because a woman who hadn't bleached much before was going to just lighten by rather dark hair. Other than that... if you feel really good about yourself, that will show through, and as shallow as it may sound, when I feel that I have a nice hair cut and my hair looks nice, it makes any outfit and any day better. And having fun with your hair is part of that! But yeah, definitely do what you feel right about. |

Consider this:
Let's say you have a girlfriend, the same age as you, that all of the sudden starts to get premature grey hairs (hereditary). Would you still not like her to dye her hair? Because, after all, it really is "leaving herself the way God made her" if she doesnt dye it. Would you consider dyeing hair unattractive in that scenario?
