When a guy looks me in the eye while he's talking to me, it goes a long way. I really appreciate it, and i know he's paying attention, or at least makes me feel like he is. For a girl to look me in the eye while she or i'm talking to her, it also goes a long way, then i know she's listening. And David, again, you and your sense of humor- you crack me up.

If I'm talking to my best friend she doesn't have to look at me cause I know she's listening even if she has her ear buds in. She's the only one I let do that!! But really if I'm talking to someone,even if it's a three year old I like them to look me in the eyes so I know they are listening and understanding what I say.

If I'm talking to someone, I like acknowledgment that they're listening and comprehending what I'm saying. However, people who stare and shifty eyed people are..... ew.... creepy!

IDk in south Africa (where I was born and what my background is...) it's respectful to give everyone eye contact when you're listening or talking to them... like even teachers or lecturers... but I know I get a bit self concious and dont hold it 24/7... i probably maintain eye contact about 85% of the time?? idk... but yeah... so I have no problem with giving people eye contact or if a guy or girl gives me eye contact... but if it's a guy it means more... idk why, but it does...
