One of my friends is obsessed with them. I've heard a little bit of their music, and yeah, their good. They're some of the only decent people left in Hollywood. I really don't know much about them, but I guess I like them |

| i like the them; however it just kinda bugs me that is all the songs that i have heard of theirs none of them even mention God. I am not saying that all their songs have to be about God, but i just think sense they are Christians that they should have a couple songs talking about God and not every one a love song. I have not heard all of their cds so if they do talk about Christ in other cds; my bad! That is just my opinion. |

I think they are cool! Joe is the man! but i think thats mainly cuz he looks alot like one of my childhood friends... but yeah, that's awesome that they are christians! i didnt know that! I like "Hold On" but ive only heard like 8 of their songs... It would be cool for them to sing christian songs, but also bear in mind that they might not be able to (like if its written in their contract that they cant...) Like my favorite band (who sadly disbanded last year...) Jump5, they are christians but most of their well known songs arent"christian" persay, but they dont sing songs that go against their morals etc... They do have christian songs though... so yeah... |

I had bought their first album a while ago and I was listening to it and two of their songs I was like "I know this song...& this song too...but they sound a little different." Both Year 3000 & What I Go To School For were songs I knew from a British band Busted. The Jonas Brothers changed up the lyrics a bit in the two songs because the originals are a little degrating to women. Well atleast in What I Go To School For was. In the Busted version the girl isn't a senior at their school but a TEACHER and how they would drop pencils so she'd bend over and pick them up. The Jonas Brothers took a more loving approach to it rather than making it degrating to women. As for Year 3000 the Busted version is talking about going to the future and seeing someone's visually "HOT" granddaughter and other things that are not of God. The Jonas Brothers took that and changed it up to be more suitable. Lyrics? - Year 3000 Busted http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/busted/year3000.html Jonas Brothers http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/jonasbrothers/year3000.html What I Go To School For Busted http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/busted/whatigotoschoolfor.html Jonas Brothers http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/jonasbrothers/whatigotoschoolfor.html Over here in Canada one of our main music channels is MuchMusic and the host was talking about the Jonas Brothers and their promise to save themselves for marriage and she doesn't believe that they will be able to do it. She thinks that the media will influence them. You know cause being a "Rock Star" involves sex and drugs. I think they God chose them to be a 'light to the world'. Not too long ago I was talking to my dad about them and about this and he asked me, "Do you believe that they can do it? Or do you think that the media world will tempt them?" I think back to that now and I think he was testing me. The answer that first left my lips were, "I think they can. With God's help they can do anything." anyway I guess that's for that =] - Bee |

i really dislike the jonas brothers, ladies. i know it probably pains you to hear that somebody could actually not like them one bit, but that's just my personal opinion. the christian teen girl's magazine, brio, has been trying to get an interview with them for ages. the jb's manager finally replied saying something along the lines of: the jb are just focusing on their music for now, nothing else. i would be able to give you a quote from the mag, but i'm at a loss to find it. nevertheless, i hold the jb in no high regard. how many of us were totally ecstatic when it was learned that miley cyrus was a christian girl raised in an awesome home with great parents? who of us thought she would actually make it in this industry with next to no blemishes on her track record? and now? she's posed for vanity fair and has no excuse for it, in my eyes. she's a 14/15 year old girl, she can have her own thoughts and opinions and not need her father holding her hand everywhere she goes. same with the jonas brothers, it was awesome to hear, however many months ago, that they were christians, etc. but now they won't even answer a few questions for a christian magazine, yet they're constantly featured in secular mag's such as people. sure, we don't know their hearts, i understand that. but from their actions and words, i can only assume that they're holding God on the back burner for now. and that is enough reason for me to put them on the back burner, too. |

Not a big fan of the JB's (they sound a little musically immature to me)... or most modern pop-acts... What I do like? Audio Adrenaline, Big Tent Revival, Newsboys (esp. the 90's diso-rock era), Kutless, Relient K, DCtalk, All Star United, downhere, Switchfoot, Chris Rice, David Crowder Band, Smalltown Poets, Daft Punk, The Wrecking, Third Day, Michael Kaeshammer, Michael W. Smith's old stuff (Go West Young Man, Lamu, etc.), The O.C. Supertones, Eric Clapton, Seeds (the Grrr Records one) some stuff by Petra and Stryper... Phil Keaggy... Oh, and Jennifer Knapp I love music :-) |

Most of the nearly two billion children in the developing world have inadequate access to dinosaurs. Some receive no paleontology training at all. One in three has never even seen a dinosaur in person.
OVPC is an organization providing a means to an end - an end that sees children in even the most remote regions of the globe being given the motivation and adrenaline to tap into their own potential, identify with the survival needs of a global dinosaur-driven culture, and to contribute to a paleontological world community.

i've grown up on: newsboys [like william, the GOOD late 80's-90's rock], dctalk, keith green, rich mullins, burlap to cashmere. along with those, i like: coldplay, anberlin, as cities burn, family force 5, relient k, tobymac, u2, switchfoot, hawk nelson, fm static, the almost, lifehouse, playradioplay!, mae, audio adrenaline, the rocket summer, flyleaf, until june, bethany dillon, jimmy eat world [some], chase coy, jason reeves, colbie caillat, hillsong united, phil wickham, misty edwards, desperation band, thousand foot krutch, dead poetic, demon hunter, the showdown, leeland, delirious?, third day, underoath, the devil wears prada, grits, the spill canvas [some], jordin sparks, chris brown, rihanna, alicia keys, vanessa carlton. you could say i'll listen to anything BUT country. jojo - should the JB's really have it written in their contract that they can't sing about God? gosh, what wimps if that's true! i'm just being honest. and i still hold them in no high regard. they can say what they want, but they're still acting like God isn't controlling their lives, THEY are. :] |

I love Relient K, TobyMac, and Matthew West. Matthew West's song, " Save a Place for Me" was played at my dad's memorial this year. Super good song! About the Jo Bros., i think they are pretty cool. Believe it or not, I think Kevin (the oldest) is the best. I don't think I've met anyone who agrees with me. |

| I think Cody Linely is cute but his eyebrows don't match his hair and that kinda bothers me. Otherwise he's fine. |
