so, after reading the book, i'm learning how to make guys feel respected. i'm learning keep from gossiping about other girls, especially in front of guys. and i'm enjoying friendships with guys - some non-Christians included (as in, they go to church but haven't made an active decision to follow Christ and get baptized, etc., and they don't live exactly the way I think a Christian should). here's my question (guys? could you help me out?): How do you make a non-Christian (or Christian) guy feel respected without making him think you're interested in him? Is respect something you should be sure to give to your brothers, dad and boyfriend, but forget the rest? In learning about respect, I feel all guys should be treated the same by single girls... but i get confused when suddenly it seems they're taking signals i don't mean to be giving...

yeah, that's a good question! I show all my guy friends respect, but yeah, some do think Im sending signals, but thats when I say stuff like "You're an awesome FRIEND" lol. emphasise the "friend" issue lol but yeah, what do you guys think?

I think a good rule of thumb is anything you consider 'special' with your boyfriend, that makes HIM feel like you're interested in him, don't do with other guys. Don't spend lots of time alone with them, don't be texting or calling every day, don't go to them with problems that you wouldn't go to your dad or boyfriend first for (if you're looking for a solution that is, haha).

It is trifles that make the sum of life.

thanks this helps.... and yes, i'm looking for a solution, lol. not interested in a relationship here and now... but friendships are nice.
