| Hugs are always good! Me and my friends brag about how girls hug us. Just make sure you lean into him, though. Otherwise he will get offended |

it's kinda crazy how time has a way of makein all these memories fade away so if theres only one thing you remember bout me remember that i loved you unconditionally! |

| Well, it depends on what you all feel comfortable with. I would say it's perfectly OK in my book! |

Haha... ok, Austin, nice response... I wonder if they picked up on that subtlety... Me and my friends brag about how girls hug us. Um, yeah... note the word how. Guys tend to do that. Hugs are great... but... you don't exactly want us to be feeling your figure while hugging us. We aren't blind- we notice it with our eyes well enough. My personal advise would be go with the side hugs, or don't go squeezing the daylights out of the guy. (You know what I mean... it's like the difference between dressing to attract and dressing attractively... there's a way to hug that shows off your body, whether you intend it to or not.) Of course, if you're talking about a boyfriend, the dynamics are totally different. So... just out of curiosity, since guys usually notice a girl's "assets" when hugging them tightly, I was wondering- do girls notice, anything like that when hugging a guy... or, if not, do we tend to do anything like that, where we may be completely oblivious to what we're doing, but we're "showing off our assets" in a way that you might like, although not like to admit you like. (Yeah, we like the full on hugs... just usually in a way that's awkward to admit.) |

Most of the nearly two billion children in the developing world have inadequate access to dinosaurs. Some receive no paleontology training at all. One in three has never even seen a dinosaur in person.
OVPC is an organization providing a means to an end - an end that sees children in even the most remote regions of the globe being given the motivation and adrenaline to tap into their own potential, identify with the survival needs of a global dinosaur-driven culture, and to contribute to a paleontological world community.

ok. thanx for the advice.
um i can't really think of an asset. i guess it's more of the way you are acting and holding yourself about your body that would be a problem for me. like a girl being flirtatious and showing off her body to get attention. does that make sense?

yeahhh, william. amen to the side hugs! man, at my age (17), they're my best friend right now. full on hugs are just too...i don't know, creepy. i mean, that's not to say any of my guy friends are actual creeps, not at all. but giving a full on, squeeze-mania hug? my word, that's like dangling a rawhide bone in front of a rottweiler, he's drooling and aching to come and snatch it! girls who are, shall we say, "well-endowed", best be careful. i know, i know, you're thinking, "ZOMG! so-and-so would never hug me because of that!" ummmmmmm...okay let's look at the facts: 1.) he's a guy. 2.) you're a girl. 3.) God wired us as sexual beings. 4.) and you're pressing yourself up against him? riiiiiiight, of course he's not looking forward to hugging you. you keep telling yourself that. *smirk* again to william, i'd have to agree with angel, there aren't many "assets" (that i can think of) that would make hugs difficult for me. even if a guy is like, buff and amazingly gorgeous, hugs just aren't that big of a deal...on my end. keep that in mind, everybody. and girls, just because you think hugging the life out of your best guy pal is hunky-dory, doesn't mean he's thinking exactly the same thing. just my bluntly honest opinion. :] |

Ahh, I tend not to hug my guy friends at all.... cause everytime they do hug one of my girl-friends, they like embrace them, and hug them real tight for as long as they can till she slips away (making it in a friendly-joking but oh-so-close way), -- ofcourse my girl-friends think its so funny, and do not think they are hugging them till there practically suffocating because they want to get close to their body... cause us my girls just don't think like that.
Butttt, I see the smirks on the guys' faces as they hug them, and they tell all =P So, I just rather not even hug my guy friends, I can't even give them a side hug, cause they just grab me and bring me in closer. Gaahh, teenage boys =P |

| I only hug the guys that are special to me, and not really tight either. I usually don't initiate the hugs - the guy does - but I generally hug guys full on. NOt too tight tho lol |

| hahahaha, I hug my guy friends, but only ones that are close enough to me, like who I deem as worhty of a hug lol. I like hugs, but I agree, i do feel akward if they dont let go though... and it's weird when guys ask me for hugs, then Im like "Uh... No." lol its quite funny... as for assets... i know what guys are on about, but I dont think girls think like that... but if the guy has his shirt off... thats a big distraction!!! especially if he's good looking... (I dont know how else to phrase it without causing offence...) but like if a guy hugs me like his arms touch my lower back, i freak out, thats just TOO CLOSE!!!!!!! and normally hugs only last for like 2 seconds. I hug my brother and dad longer, but they're family, so it doesnt really count. |

| i actually kinda disagree with u there jojo.... i mean i definitely don't think guys should be crude, but if guys don't tell us how will we know not to do something or where a certain thing....? One time i was out with some friends and one of the guys said he did not like it when girls wore words across their chest (and i was thinking what the heck that does not make any sense). but they about a month later i was out with my best friend and her bro and he told us that he does not like it when girls have words across theirs boobs because he looks at them trying to see what it says and then realizes what he is looking at and then there's problems... after knowing the reason i was like really.. i never knew that and then i wanted to stop wearing those kinds of shirts to help my guy friends... and yeah sometimes it is embarrassing to hear this from a guy, but you know what we need to hear it or else we wont know the reason why we need to change. those are just my thoughts... |

mac, you have a very good point! but just so you know, jojo didn't mean what you think she did, i'm sure. i'm quite certain she meant the crude stuff, that it's just like, "wow, please shut up now." because it's really disgusting. but the stuff you mentioned mac, would be totally chill to hear from my guy friends, because then i'd know what they like and don't. :] |

LOL yeah, i did mean the crude stuff... lol but yeah, i do wanna know if guys have a problem with stuff i wear. Like at youth, it's mostly guys. I was the only girl for a while and last year we finally got a few more girls to come. but yeah, us girls all wanted to leave the room when the guys all went descirptive, we were like "Can you stop. You know, we arent guys and we dont need to hear this..." LOL |
