Hey, this is kinda a follow up to my last post called "when a friend tries to hook you up with a guy," in the Discuss the Book category.
Anyway, so, I was a little down and confused when I last posted...not anymore! I've been spending a lot of time just reading the word and being still, listening to God. It's been so wonderful, and it made me happy for "no apparent reason." It was God that made me happy 
Well, I just got back from our "Sunday teen meeting thing" that we have every other Sunday for the Christian teens in our area to just get together and fellowship...it's really awesome! So, guess who was there?...yep, the guy that my friend was trying to set me up with
Apparently, at our last meeting, my friend had told everyone that this guy and a couple of his friends were coming the next Sunday...and she told them not to tell me about it. You don't know how difficult it was for my sister to not tell me! lol! She has a hard time keeping secrets anyway, and we are super close!
So, I kinda had an idea that they might be coming, but I wasn't for sure...but they came today! And, his friends were so nice Anyway, we got aquainted in a comfortable, group atmosphere, and it was really good...it also helps that we both have awesome friends who know us pretty well (we're both kinda shy when it comes to these matters), and who can help us out...encourage us in a good way.
I'm pretty sure he's interested in me, and I like him, too...so, I'm so glad that God worked things out in a way that I never expected and that is good for me. I kinda want to take things slowly and get to know each other as friends first. So, that's a lesson in patience lol!
