I've so far noticed that most of the teens on here are into dating. I'm not allowed to date and I don't want to anyway until there's actually a reason (it's not like I'd get married at 16 ) so I'm wondering if I'm alone in my dateless state?? Does anyone else think dating should be reserved for a time when the person is actually likely to marry the other person? Anyone's input would be much appreciated.
Just warning ya I have strong views on dating but I'll try and curb my impulses.
Man I love these smilies!

I think not dating is very good! You can get to know someone by just being friends. My best friend is younger than I, and just turned 18 last week. Since July she has had 3 bfs. The latest one she broke up with because "he was too serious about the relationship, she just wants to date and have fun, not get serious at only 18" I wanted to strangle her!!! He is going to get hurt! date raped or something serious. She won't listen to me so I'm not saying anything. My parents don't allow us girls to date until we are 20 and then it's not for 'dating' but serious relationship. I dated my first bf at almost 19 (phase of rebellion) and now, looking back, I see why my parents say wait till 20 |

Wow 20 is a good effort I think most people on here are into talking about dating haha pretty sure there are quite a few single people, some of us haven't dated in the past either My parents don't say much about dating but mum keeps telling me I'm too young or that I have this harem cause I talk to a fair few girls.. she went out with my dad when she was 16 cause her parents were super conservative and that was her only way out. Nice to have some leverage haha. |

Because (see my sig) I was previously Jessamae until I figured I might as well use my real name. And it's spelled Rebekah not Rebecca. ROFLRAWU Darcie!! That's me-speak for rolls on floor laughing right along with you. Though I'm not sure why we're laughing! |
