Do you think it is okay for a girl to express her interest in a guy? If not, why? If so, what do you think are appropriate things a girl could say or do to show a guy that she was interested in him?

I think it's ok to show interest interest in a guy like talking to him or doing things together but I don't think she should be the one to ask for a date or anything.

I think it's good for a girl to express interest, not always totally upfront cause that can be a bit scary haha guys probably won't pick up on that many of your hints though so it depends what you want to happen :) telling friends is usually good

hahaha I could just imagine a little questionaire thing with:
do you have any siblings?
do you have any pets?
do you like school?
are you single?
do you like me?

While I think that's pretty cute there would be guys out there that would get freaked out by that sort of thing, it's hard because you kind of want something obvious that isn't too in your face but for many boys the two things are the same haha.
Something like a note or a txt that is sort of affectionate and is more than just your average message would be good. I'm sure the perfect 'thing' that gets the information across without being awkward would be different depending on the guy. For shy, introverted guys they will love some 'gentle' attention and will really take in your words/cues much more. Extroverts love attention even more but they tend to get it more and so to make it special you would have to be a bit different around them.

Kind of a ramble but hope something in that is useful :)

That's alright :) not sure what that comment explains exactly haha just pretty much saying guys are really slow when it comes to taking clues and obvious to them is completely in your face..

Just a generalisation though :) some guys are pretty good, usually the ones that get on well with girls ;)

Yeah I would say so :) If you're good friends and you say you like him and he doesn't get awkward or go all deep and say you're just a friend to him then he probably does :)
