Yeah I'm from the southernmost state (Tasmania the island) so we get lots of rain and cold winters :/ It is really beautiful here though no dangerous animals down here either haha I love it, not sure if I could live anywhere else Most of Queensland just got flooded pretty bad so you might be able to get a pretty cheap house haha |

haha here in north dakota, We have gotten sooooo much snow that we are going to have a big flood. bigger than last year. oh and our winters are bad too. like last night the wind chill was 40 below 0. and we have had snow everyday for 20 days, either its sunny in the morning and snows in the evening/night or vise versa. i love winter!! if i could go anywhere im pretty sure it would be the OutBack in Aussie! oh and to listen to Austrailians talk is so neat, i just love yalls accent. lol Random!!! |

Haha it isn't quite that outback down here but some parts are pretty rural. our winters aren't that cold but they are just sort of gloomy and depressing, for me they are anyway ha. We get about 9 hours daylight in the middle of winter and it's pretty much always raining and overcast. The summer has been pretty wet too but we've had a couple of nice hot days it only snows a few times a year though and it only settles properly about every 2 years where I live. I do like the Irish sound that some Americans have, other times it's funny and sometimes it's annoying It's only the boguns that have real strong accents haha but you probably reckon mine would be strong too |

haha yeah we usually call ourselves 'aussies' There isn't much of the 'cheerio' sometimes I spose haha almost everyone says 'cheers' though There's a south african guy at school and he would say cheers to everything haha, it was like "How's it going Gary?" "Cheers!" "Seeya later Gary" "Cheers" We do say G'day a lot too but it's so casual it doesn't even sound like G'day haha |
