We are friends, I've known him around a year, we make LOTS of eye contact , smiles all the time at me, jokes around, texts some, and he just recently found out that I like him...but there is a guy in my youth group that told me that the guy I like hates me and a nother guy that told me he likes me but doesn't know how to show it. We are both 17 and really shy ( he is shyer than me) and he gas never had a girlfriend.  Neither of us has had our first kiss except each other during truth or dare this summer. Do you think he hates or that the guy that told me that just doesn't know what he is talking about?

thnx for any and all answers!

I couldn't read the post very well, but from what I could make out, I agree with Jimmy. The guy that you like, didn't tell you that he hates you himself. And even if he doesn't like you (Which seems unlikely) he probably doesn't hate you. Hope this helped, Kyle.

Sometimes we don't learn enough. I wish I could go to Highschool with my friends. Only a few of them homeschool.

Yeah, till 3rd Grade. Not sure why mom pulled me out. Honestly going to High-school with my friends is probably out of reach they are mostly in a dif town.

If he hated you he woulda said no to kissing you in truth or dare, and btw that does count as a first kiss! :)

A first kiss is lips..not cheeks in truth or dare!

it does =] "making out" isn't the only first kiss you can have... only two lips are necessary for a kiss, even on someone's cheek

I totally agree with you Adelynn.
Turth or Dare or not, it's still a kiss,
And a first kiss isn't something you should be giving away in a game of Truth or Dare!

A girl should be so lost in God that a guy has to go in Him in order to find her

it's okay, though! Now that you've thought about what a first (or second!) kiss is and who is worthy of yours, you can make great choices based on that

you make it sound like I regret it..but I don't, for a few reasons.
1. I REALLY REALLY like this guy.
2. I still don't count it as a first kiss.
3.I'm saving ALL my lip kisses for my hubby.
4.I did think about it a while before I took the dare.

For some reason, I thought you wouldn't regret it. And regret isn't a good thing, but what a "first kiss" is or isn't shouldn't be based on whether you wish it was a first kiss or if you don't even like the guy.

Think about it this way- do you plan on being married someday? What if your future husband (no matter who he ends up being), saw you treating this guy this way? Even if you do marry this particular guy, doesn't it say so much about how much you'll love your future husband if you respect him enough to not give your heart to someone else? And what if this guy's future wife could time-travel and see you with this guy- would she be upset by how you're treating him?

It's not wrong to like a guy or hope that he notices you (barring if you are already married or have a bf), but today is practice for tomorrow, and today really does count.
